Meet the Founder
Brad Simanski
Founder of StageNook · Actor · Producer

StageNook began with a familiar challenge: keeping track of everything happening in the script and beyond.
As an actor and producer working across theater and screen, I experienced firsthand how much a creative professional needs to remember and manage. Entrances, exits, blocking, lines, cues, costume changes, and backstage transitions all become part of bringing a performance to life.
Early in my career, while on a national tour of Singin’ in the Rain, I found myself juggling my own responsibilities while also covering multiple understudy tracks. I needed a better way to keep everything organized without constantly returning to a bulky script or binder, especially in a dance-heavy show.
That’s when I developed a personal rehearsal-card system that brought those details together in one portable place. What began as a practical solution quickly became an invaluable part of my process, and one I continue to use in productions today.
That experience became the inspiration for StageNook.
Today, we’re transforming that personal system into a thoughtfully designed, modular rehearsal-card system that can support performers and creative teams through every stage of the process, from rehearsal room to final curtain.
Stay organized. Stay in the moment.
